Guidelines for Sharing a Story
Submissions to "Share Your Story" on the Vision 2015 website should share your perspectives on how a quality education experience positively shaped the direction of your life or your perspectives on why you feel education is important to today's children. Our goal is to provide a forum for constructive ideas and comments related to public education in Delaware.
Stories can be as long or short as you want, but we suggest keeping them to a maximum of 300 words (roughly a single page) to increase the chances that others will read them in their entirety. Stories can be written offline and cut and pasted into the Vision 2015 website for posting. Style and format are up to you.
Please note: All stories should be true and accurate. Stories that include a personal attack on either an individual or his or her position will not be published. The editor reserves the right to decline any entries that engage in such activity. Although critical observations are acceptable, we will choose to publish stories that include constructive solutions. We also will not publish any stories with unacceptable language or obscenities or that go beyond the scope of this website.
Vision 2015 reserves the right (but not the obligation) to edit, correct, or alter any stories for clarification prior to posting. We ask that you reread your story one last time before submitting it to check for typos or misspellings.
