Invest in Early Childhood Education
- Why doesn't Vision 2015 call for universal preschool?
We believe that all children should have the benefit of early childhood education. Due to cost, however, Vision 2015 recommends state subsidies for families that are within 200% of the poverty line, providing basic access to high-quality early education for our neediest children. The plan also recommends improving the quality of all early child education centers, which will improve preschool quality for all children in the state.
